She has over 30 years of combined experience in postsecondary administration and teaching, workforce and economic development, and social work. She has a "no holds barred" approach to overcoming barriers, institutional memory, and resistance to change, and is motivated to eliminate equity disparities in education, particularly for Black, Latinx, and Indigenous students and students from low-income backgrounds.
